The values of scorching time τ 02 (Table 2) and activation energy of the curing reactions of blends were determined. Curing density and efficiency were evaluated (Table 3, Fig. 2). The effects of different amounts of various curing co-agents [zinc dimethacrylate (DMZn) or zinc diacrylate (DAZn)] and a filler (pyrogenic silica) on the characteristics of vulcanizates were investigated (Fig. 1, 3, Table 5, 7). The mechanical properties of HNBR and EPM vulcanizates, cured with peroxide DCP or new peroxides (Table 4, 6) and containing or not a coagent and a filler, were compared. It has been found that commercial DCP can be replaced in curing reactions with other organic peroxides what let obtain the materials with higher curing density and better mechanical properties.}, number={4}, journal={Polimery}, author={Zaborski, M. and Skurska, M. and Przybyszewska, M. and Pingot, T. and Zawadiak, J. and Orlińska, B. and Gillner, D.}, year={2010}, month={Apr.}, pages={293-298} }
