Novel rigid polyurethane-polyisocyanurate foams (PUR-PIR) modified by addition of halloysite (DOA) were the focus of this research. The filler content was in the range of 0–20 wt % in relation to the sum of the masses of the used polyol and polyisocyanate. The thermoinsulating, mechanical and aging properties as well as the flammability of the obtained materials were investigated. It has been found that the modification of PUR-PIR system by using up to 20 wt % DOA allows to produce foams with better thermoinsulating properties, lower brittleness and water absorption compared to unmodified ones. Also, the flammability of the foams was reduced.
