The analysis of commercially available coolants used for injection mold cooling was performed. The thermal and fluid properties of the coolants were evaluated. The influence of coolant temperature and its flow rate on the efficiency of heat transfer and pressure losses in the cooling channel were investigated, with the aim to evaluate the mold cooling efficiency.
