Abstract

A review with 36 references (including Authors' own works, Tables 1-3) covering present-day dressing materials like gypsum-knitted fabric composites and polymeric materials, the latter with particular reference to polyurethane-knitted fabric composites. Numerous advantages of polymeric above traditional dressing materials are emphasized.
