The effect of the method of preparing polylactide surface on the structure of copper layer deposited by metallization process has been studied. The surface layer of polylactide was modified by chemical, plasma, and laser methods. A layer of metal has been deposited by electroless metallization in autocatalytic copper plating process. Studies have shown that the structure and thickness of the deposited copper layer depend significantly on the modification method and the structure of the metallized surface.
