Determination of the contribution of renewable resources in polymeric packaging materials

Abstract

The results of the evaluation of 14C carbon content in packaging materials, indicating the contribution of renewable resources in the manufacturing of the studied polymers, have been presented. This study was the initial stage of the efforts towards the development of certification system for packaging materials, which can be used in a wide-ranging environmental protection.
