Models of changes in the functional properties of polyolefin packaging films

Abstract

During its usage, polyolefin packaging films undergo an aging process, which results in irreversible changes in their properties, which in turn can influence their functional value. The level of the packaging films' functional value is determined to a large extent, by climate factors, which react with these materials during their storage and the storage of the products packed in them. Therefore, the development of the model predicting changes in the functional properties of polyolefin packaging films including the impact of microclimate conditions seems to be important.
