Directions of investigations on dendrimers and hyperbranched polymers
Abstract
With reference to the IUPAC MACRO 2000 conference (Warsaw, 9-14 July 2000) subject matters, the new methods of synthesis, structures and chosen applications of dendrimers as well as star-like and hyperbranched polymers have been discussed (87 references mainly from the years 1997-2000). Main directions of investigations in this area are following: searching for effective catalysts and for simple methods of synthesis of dendrimers without structure defects, - binding of linear fragments with starlike and dendrimer ones in polymer macromolecules, - building in the special chemical structures, determining required properties, into macromolecules.
