Estimation of the dimensional error in polyamide molds
Abstract
Dimensions of PA mold test specimens were measured and the average and variance values were evaluated. Correlations between the dimensional characteristics are given; dispersion estimates (Fig. 1) and average value positions are given (Tables 1-7) . The shift in the average value was found to result in low actual process capacity Cpk/ even if the technical means evaluated in terms of potential process capacity Cp were satisfactory.
