Study on porosity and surface area of the mixtures of graphene oxide and TiO2 modified gas diffusion electrodes for polymer fuel cells

Abstract

The syntheses of TiO2 and TiO2-SiO2-VTMS (TiO2-SiO2 modified with vinyltrimethoxysilane) powders have been carried out. TiO2 containing powders and non-reduced graphene oxide (GO) were then used to prepare the mixtures based on carbon powder. Surface area and porosity of the obtained carbon mixtures and additives were determined. The mixtures modified with graphene oxide and TiO2-SiO2-VTMS showed the most favourable physical properties.
